New Piano

My parents just got a new piano for the house...I picked it out/haggled and they paid for it. Pretty nice. Needs to be tuned, though.

As you can see, I've already taken it over...

As you can see, it's a big improvement from the previous family piano:

Tyreke Evans

...is now a Sacramento King. I like him better than Rubio, personally. I don't think Rubio will live up to all the hype. Wait until he gets an NBA body to block him and see if he still pulls those stunts he does in the Euroleague.

Just Saw Transformers 2

It's an awesome movie as far as terrible movies go. Nothing really makes sense, except in the mind of Michael Bay who just likes to blow things up.

At any rate, I was at least thoroughly entertained.

Just Back from Claremont

Just came back from an awesome week in Claremont (Los Angeles area) to see our really good friends David and Irene get married. Also got to a chance to meet up with old friends from Long Beach (who played with me for the wedding) and former professors (composition with Carolyn Bremer and violin with Kimiyo Takeya, who gave me an impromptu lesson!).

And it was also the site for our annual reunion with college friends from Jaclyn's school, Scripps. All and all, a fantastic time!

Last night in Claremont...a little wacky.

New Printer

Just used my new/used HP 5100N to print 11x17 parts...didn't realize it was going to be so damn slow (about 6 pages per minute). But at least it works and prints very nicely. It gets the job done.
